The Important Thing to Know About the Law of Attraction and Manifestation...

One of the most important things to know about the Law of Attraction and Manifestation is:

We get what we focus on mentally and emotionally,
whether we want it or not.

That’s right, the Law of Attraction and Manifestation works both ways. When we focus on something we DO want, we get it and when we focus on something that we DON’T want, we get that to (or something similar).

Thru the power of our focused thought and emotion, we will attract exactly what we are focusing on, something that is vibrating at a similar frequency or both.

When we have an understanding of the Law of Attraction, we realize how our thoughts and emotions affect our life experience and our ability to manifest.

According to Abraham-Hicks (well known teachers of the Law of Attraction), it only takes 17 seconds of focused thought for a vibration to become activated and in as little as 68 seconds, the vibration becomes strong enough for manifestation to begin.

In other words, a passing thought is not going to have any attraction power. However, if we focus on something with thought and emotion for even a small amount of time, we are vibrationally inviting whatever we are focused on (or something similar), into our life experience.

What we focus on grows:

Thru the Law of Attraction and Manifestation, the energy and vibration of what we focus on grows. For instance, as we focus on something thru thought, our emotions begin to match the vibration of these thoughts.

The more thought and emotion that we give to something, the stronger our “attraction magnet” becomes. Soon we will be attracting even more thoughts, conversations, experiences, etc. that support and reflect our existing thought and emotions. The focused attention of our thought and emotion strengthens our magnetic field and accelerates manifestation.

Time allows us to shift our focus:

Fortunately as Abraham-Hicks points out (in their Law of Attraction Book) there is a buffer of time between when we begin to think about something and when something actually manifests. This is good news for us, particularly if we have been focusing our energy on something that we do not want!

As long as we become conscious of what we are focusing on before it manifests, this buffer of time gives us the opportunity to shift our focus away from what we don’t want and towards something that we do want.

Paying Attention to Emotion:

Another piece of good news is that we don’t need to obsess over every thought in order to know where our focus is. We just need to pay attention to how we feel. Our emotions tell us if we are focusing on something that we want or don’t want.

If you feel good, your thoughts and emotions are aligned with your desires. If you are experiencing emotion that doesn’t feel good, on some level you are thinking about or experiencing something that you don’t want.

What is the moral to this theory?

The Law of Attraction and Manifestation isn’t something we can turn on or off, therefore we are always manifesting.

When we aren’t fully aware of what our thought patterns and emotions are, we are manifesting unconsciously or by default in our lives. Ultimately we want to learn how to manifest consciously to create more of what we do want and less of what we don’t want in our lives.

We can start to manifest consciously by recognizing when our focus is on something that we don’t want (by paying attention to how we feel). From there, we can learn how to shift our focus by identifying what we do want and concentrating on that.
